Cape VI
, the 6th African Petroleum Congress and Exhibition is to be held in Abuja, the capital of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on the 15th to 17th March, 2016. The congress will bring together the major decision makers from the eighteen states in Africa which produce petroleum and will consist of a three day conference with a related trade show considered to be the most established and influential event of it’s kind in Africa. The Cape conference is organised jointly by the African Petroleum Producers Association, the Nigerian Ministry of Petroleum Resources and AME Trade Ltd UK and will be held in Abuja International Conference Centre which is situated just an hour from the airport and is accessible from all the major hotels in the city.

The official inauguration will welcome His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, Grand Commander of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Speakers such as petroleum ministers from many African oil producing nations are confirmed to speak and the trade show will have representatives from many branches directly involved with the industry like equipment manufacturers and software experts. The attendees are high level decision makers such as ministers of Africa’s petroleum producing countries, CEOs of national and international oil companies and banking and financial institutions, among others.

The Cape congress is an opportunity to be involved at the highest level with petroleum policy in Africa. An abundance of vital figures in the petroleum industry will give an unparalleled insight into where the industry is at the moment, and where it is potentially going, as well as which factors are shaping the development of petroleum production in Africa. Attendance is free but limited by pre-registration which can easily be done online on www.cvent.com.
